You are cordially invited to be inspired by the message of Astronaut Dr. Daniel Barry. Dr. Barry flew three Space Shuttle missions; the STS72 Endeavor in January 1996, the STS96 Discovery in May 1999 and the STS105 Discovery in August 2001. He logged over 734 hours in space, traveled more than 12 million miles and completed 4 spacewalks totaling approximately 26 hours.  His message will continue the launch of energy and enthusiasm for learning Science, Math, and Technology skills at Upper Moreland. Dr. Barry without hesitation states that “the person who will walk on Mars is a current secondary student. Anyone whoever thought of rocketing into space or striving for a presumable lofty dream should be encouraged in every way to never stop their pursuit. Always keep the dream alive, because dreams can come true.” Don’t miss the opportunity to hear about and view the amazing achievements of the NASA missions into space. The future of spaceflight exploration will unveil new discoveries to advance human life in this world.
