The Upper Moreland Education Foundation exists to provide the Upper Moreland Community with enhanced learning opportunities through creative and innovative educational programs.
Each year, members from the Upper Moreland education community are invited to participate in a competitive process for UMEF grant monies. As UMEF grows, we will be able to support more programs and reach more children in the Upper Moreland community. Application Guidelines and Procedures are available on this web site or by contacting the President.
The UMEF 3nd Annual 5K Run/1.5 Walk was a wonderful success! The sunny, crisp morning brought together families and community members for a friendly race that boasted over 250 runners and walkers. Pre-race, the participants were treated to a school mascot race, which included the Hatboro Horsham Hatters, the Upper Dublin Cardinal, and our own Golden Bear - who won easily! Post race, Sonic of Willow Grove, was on hand to provide the hungry participants breakfast burritos and juice. Congratulations and thanks to all for participating in the 5K.  The Upper Moreland Education Foundation (UMEF) is excited to announce the roll-out of the “Walk to Get Smart” fundraising event. The goal of this fundraiser is to purchase “Smart Board” Interactive White Boards and technology devices for every student in every classroom in the Upper Moreland Township School District. On Friday, May 11, 2012, Upper Moreland School District’s first “Walk to Get Smart" fundraiser will take place. On the day of the event, students will walk around a designed route and will rotate through various exercise & game stations during a one-hour period. Each student will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax deductible donation to Upper Moreland |
